Which One?

Listener responding by function, feature, and class

The learner hears a question such as “Which one do you eat?”, “Which one has wheels?”, or “Which one is an animal?” and taps the answer from 3, 4, or 6 photos.

Open Which One?

When

  • After the learner can find these pictures by name (for example in Find It).
  • Teaching what things are for, what they have, and what group they belong to.
  • Building toward intraverbal answers to the same questions.

Why

  • Recorded voice asks each question the same way every trial.
  • Items that could also be a fair answer (a toilet for “sit on”, a picture of a grocery store for “eat”) never appear as wrong choices.
  • Questions with more than one answer (dog, cat, bird, and fish for “animal”) rotate through all of them.
  • A wrong tap highlights the right picture and asks again, as a prompt that isn’t scored as correct.

How

  1. On the setup screen, pick a level: Function · 3, Feature · 4, Class · 4, or Mixed · 6 messy (all three kinds of question, with three photos of each item). Then tap Play.
  2. The first question plays right away. Tap the speaker button to repeat it. The question is also written below it for you.
  3. Let the learner respond. A correct tap earns stars and moves on. A wrong tap prompts the right answer.
  4. Use Skip, Log, Hold to reset, and End the same way as in Find It. Rounds are 10 trials.

Saved to the dashboard: The first tap on every trial, plus skips. Each question is its own target, and the most common errors show the picture chosen instead. Changing the level starts a new phase on the graph.
