Naming pictures (tacts) in discrete trials

50 everyday nouns, each with 3 different photos (150 cards), shuffled every session. The adult delivers the instruction and scores each card.

When

  • Table-time drills where you present, prompt, and score quickly.
  • Checking generalization across different pictures of the same thing.

Why

  • Three photos per word build generalization instead of one memorized picture.
  • One-tap scoring keeps your eyes on the learner, not on paper.
  • An unfinished deck resumes where you left off next time.

How

  1. Select the learner and open Flashcards. Tap Start session, or Practice as a guest to run without saving.
  2. Show the card and give your instruction (for example, “What is it?”). The app doesn’t speak.
  3. Score the first response: Correct (right arrow or swipe right) or Not yet (left arrow or swipe left).
  4. Made a mistake? Tap Undo (⌘Z or Ctrl+Z). Reveal target shows the answer label for you.
  5. After the last card, choose Reshuffle & begin again or View progress.

Saved to the dashboard: Every scored card. The dashboard shows accuracy per session, targets that need work, and a table of every target.
