## When

-   Alongside each Milestones assessment.
-   Planning which barriers to address first.

## Why

-   Raters agree only moderately on barriers (Montallana et al., 2019), so a second-rater option is built in.
-   Use it to plan, not to measure outcomes: in research, Barriers totals didn’t track Vineland problem-behavior scores.

## How

1.  Open **Barriers Checklist** with the learner selected and tap **New assessment**.
2.  Tap a score from 0 to 4 for each barrier. Tap it again to clear it.

**Saved to the dashboard:** Your score for each barrier, per assessment date. The dashboard shows the latest total (lower means fewer barriers) and rater agreement.
